Microsoft has now officially sold 10 million Xbox 360 units. The 360 is the first next gen console to sell over 10 million units. People wonder if Microsoft has a chance to end the heat of the console war. But some people complain that Microsoft had a whole year head-start but thats just kind of stupid, because they don't have to wait for the Wii and PS3 to come out. But the Wii is closing the gap and has yet to let of steam and slow down on the sales. What I think is funny, is the arguments over the 360 and PS3, the first in the console war and last, and which is better, when the Wii is starting to catch up, and the Wii is more family oriented and aimed towards the whole crowd, young to old. The funny part is, if the PS3 was better than the 360, then why isn't it winning? I actually think that the Wii is going to surpass the 360 but the PS3 is going to lose steam.

This could prove to be very true, especially considering the 360 is finally getting a Blu-Ray player, so we may see Metal Gear Solid 4 coming to it, if it turns out to be able to run games.
Here's why I think the Wii will surpass both. People USUALLY have either a PS3 or an Xbox because they are essentially the same thing (yeah, different games, but the concept is identical) ... the Wii is an entirely different experience, so many people have both a Wii and one of the other two.
The there are people that buy only the Wii, and those that buy the Wii and an (Xbox||360) ... so, Wii ends up selling more.
It's also so much cheaper, so why NOT buy one!
Yeah. A Wii and 360 give a far better gaming experience than one PS3, and they cost about the same.
